The Klipper firmware allows the SV07 Plus to reach a maximum print speed of 500mm/s. Equipped with a high-resolution 5-inch touch screen (480x800), the SV07 Plus offers a vastly different experience from the typical knob screen and 4.3-inch touch screens found on the market. Furthermore, Klipper provides a range of functional options, including height mapping and input shaping, enabling users to customize the printer based on their specific needs.
The all-metal hotend of the SV07 Plus features a larger melt zone, facilitating a high flow rate of up to 20-30mm³/s and significantly reducing the risk of clogging. An extra-large rear-mounted fan delivers triple the airflow, quickly cooling the prints and ensuring high-quality layering, even at high speeds and temperatures. This setup eliminates the need for PTFE replacements or firmware flashes when printing with different materials, such as ABS and Nylon.
Equipped with a 600W Meanwell power supply, the SV07 Plus delivers excellent and stable heating performance. The upgraded 420W heated bed can reach 60°C in just 90 seconds, which is at least 30 seconds faster than most printers on the market, regardless of size. This combination of a larger print volume (300x300x350mm) and faster heating and printing speeds makes the SV07 Plus a highly efficient and capable 3D printer.
The SV07 Plus features Sovol's self-developed Direct Drive Extruder, which utilizes a planetary dual gear set to provide a higher drive ratio and a lighter motor for precise extrusion. Additionally, a large external knob has been added to facilitate easier filament feeding, allowing users to focus on their printing projects with minimal interruptions.
The SV07 Plus also boasts a 25-point auto-leveling system with an inductive sensor to detect and compensate for any unevenness in the heated bed. This precise and intelligent technology ensures an exceptional first layer. Users are advised to set the initial layer height to 0.3mm when slicing and to wipe the PEI surface with alcohol before each print to address any adhesion issues.
